WAYFINDING + TRACES
2009 _ architectural design studio + research project

Alice finds herself lost in an urban Wonderland.

In a maze-like transit hub for Bowden Village, commuters must find their way by using distinct methods of navigation and observing traces left by others. The proposed space aims to increase awareness, social interaction, and the sense of community.

The design response was developed in parallel with research into our fascination with complex, non-linear, and serialised narratives, referring to examples in film and television.
